Darbhanga University’s Inter-College Sports for the 2025-26 session begins on 10 September with Women’s Kabaddi at the university headquarters. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary launched the sports calendar.
The calendar includes Kabaddi, Volleyball, Athletics, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Wrestling, Rugby, Handball, Football, Chess, Kho-Kho, and more, hosted across multiple colleges in Darbhanga, Begusarai, and Samastipur.
– Youth Festival: 8–11 October – Athletics: 3–5 November – Football (Men): 15–17 December – Kho-Kho (Women): 21–22 January The competitions run from September to January.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that sports foster discipline, teamwork, leadership, and mental strength. All competitions will be organized safely and transparently with student participation encouraged.
The season concludes in January with Women’s Kho-Kho. Officials believe the calendar will act as a guiding framework for all colleges and ensure smooth team formation and selections.
